The quest you should never skip
Wizards Apprentice from Almighty Calvin is the only quest that pays a guaranteed Cursed Fruit, and it is available from minute one. Every other fruit in your first ten hours either drops at random or comes from a chest — a quest with a fruit at the end of it is the single best early objective in the game.
Repeatable loops by island
- Anchor Town: the Marine Captain quest behind the 25 G gate is your first real grind. Short walk, fast respawn, endless accept cycles.
- Clown Town: Johnny's clown officer quest takes over from level 30 and stays the best EXP per minute through the late 60s.
- Maple Village: Gus, Paper Route and Kitchen Helper — stack two at a time and alternate hand-ins.
