Grand Blue · World bosses
Grand Blue world bosses
Every hour, on the hour, one of three world bosses lands on the map. It is the best coins-per-minute in the game — if you show up on time.
The rotation
| Boss | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Choppy | Entry-level — survivable in the low 70s with a real loadout |
| Kuro | Mid-tier — punish fast; bring mobility or a ranged style |
| Logan | Heavy hitter — arrive at 70+ with Marksman or a mythic fruit |
The event spawns at XX:00 every hour — server time, not your lobby's join time. Arrive a minute early: these fights are short and crowded, and the reward goes to everyone who contributed, not to whoever tagged first.
Rewards
World boss activities pay Celestial Coins, standard chests and named World Boss Chests — the only source of the named variant. Between the coin payouts and code coins, this event funds most of a Maple Village player's shopping: chest bundles, rerolls and Mary's ships.
Do not confuse the two boss types
Story bosses (Morgan, Buggy Clown) are solo-progressions gates tied to quest chains — you fight them once, on your own pace. World bosses are shared hourly events with no story attached. Different spawn rules, different rewards, different preparation. If you showed up to Morgan's arena expecting a crowd, you are on the wrong page.
